School is for Fools

Everyday at 8:35 we begin the monotonous routine of classes. We go to the same teachers as yesterday, the day before, tomorrow, the day after, next Tuesday, two weeks from today, three months from yesterday. Fun right? But then the same teachers tell us to grow up and be different; live life to the fullest; don't be afraid to try new things. Somehow it doesn't seem to work out, though.

Oh and everybody wants a good friend, but they don't feel like acting like one. I take time out to listen (or at least I try to), to give good advice, to show integrity (most of the time anyway), and most of all display my noble altruism (do I have a choice?). Then on my "off days" I'll go around and talk about anyone and everyone. Some days I just don't feel like hearing it.

Now and again people play games (high school is, in a way, a perfect trial for life). Whether you win or lose is up to you, and that's something you can take past the prison-like walls. The most important lesson to learn, however, is how to play the game! That's what they teach. The true goal is to learn how to win win win. Win. And if you lose, you better win next time. Rough.
