Looka here

For the reflective insight-hunting project, I have searched for quotes and things of that nature to find words that represent how I think about the everyone and the world.

Men are more moral than they think and far more immoral than they can imagine.
-Sigmund Freud

I think that people are they way they are, and they will always be that way. Some people are good by nature, but just get caught up in bad situations. Then again, some people appear to just be mean and evil. My belief is that people have the potential for good and evil, and pick the easiest path which is, unfortunately, isn't always good.

How Many, How Much
By Shel Silvrstein

How many slams in an old screen door?
Depends how loud you shut it.

How many slices in a bread?
Depends how thin you cut it.

How much good inside a day?
Depends how good you live 'em.

How much love inside a friend?
Depends how much you give 'em.

Shel Silverstein is my little brother and sisters' favorite author. They check out his books over and over. The other day I picked up The Light in the Attic and randomly flipped to this poem. I find this poem to be very thought provoking and insightful because it basically summarizes how to life works. I believe believe that is like like lemons; it you gotta squeeze the goodness out of it and add your own flavor or else it will be be bitter. And when all else fails, make lemonade!
